BOOK A TRIP

Detroit River Walleye Fishing (Late March - May 2024)

By popular demand, we're back at Sindbad's Restaurant & Marina for the spring season.  The Detroit River is world famous for walleye fishing.  Come join us for walleye jigging and bottom bouncing!  We fish both sides of the river and chase the best bites.

5 hour AM or PM trips are available and are priced at $500 for 1-3 people. Add $75 for an additional person for groups over 3. Maximum group size is 4 for river jigging. Morning trips start at 7am and evening trips at 2pm unless notified otherwise.  For larger groups arrangements can be made for an additional captain and boat.

Lake St. Clair Walleye  (March - Dec 2024)

Lake St. Clair is our home waters.  The popularity of targeting walleye with trolling has skyrocketed in recent years.  We target walleyes year round and educate our clients on catching them pre-spawn, post-spawn, summer, and fall/winter paterns.

Lakes St. Clair Yellow Perch  (July - November 2023)

Yellow perch are abundant in the lake and are a riot to fish for.  Perch fishing is typically non-stop hands on action and is perfect for groups with youth anglers.  Most agree that perch are among the most delicious Great Lakes fish for table fare.  In 2022 we put several perch over 13" into the boat.

St. Clair River Walleye (May - August 2023)

The St. Clair River feeds Lake St. Clair with the cool waters from Lake Huron.  It is one of the finest walleye fisheries in Michigan and offers anglers the opportunity to catch walleyes with vertical jigging and bottom bouncing.  We offer specialized whipping and hand lining trips at night, message us for details on this.

St. Clair River Sturgeon  (July 16th - October 2023)

Summertime means targeting St. Clair river prehistoric giants!  Lake Sturgeon are the hardest fighting great lakes fish out there.  They tend to go acrobatic, so imagine a 6 foot 100 something pound fishing going airborne nearby the boat as you're trying to reel it in.  These trips are run in the evening for an exciting night bite.  There is a very limited catch and keep slot and timeframe each year, most fish are released to fight again.  Trips are typically 5 hours and are at a rate of $500 for 1-3 anglers.

Educational Trips (year-round)

Captain Rob offers trips where he comes aboard client's personal boats and helps them learn how to best leverage their equipment and presentations to maximize catches.  The purpose of these educational trips is to close knowledge and execution gaps and assist with developing the mindset to consistently and independently catch more fish.  These trips are 5 hours and are at a special rate of $350
